I Love the Movie Indecent Proposal
There are movies which revolve around a couple doing something stupid which results in the disctuction of their lives. This is one of those movies. David, who was played by Woody Harrelson, is the childhood sweetheart of Diana, played by Demi Moore. Both are happily married and they decided to visit Las Vegas casinos to test their luck at gambling. They did this because of David’s dream to fund a real estate project. Unfortunately, they lost all of their saving because of a roulette game . They thought they could win a fortune playing the Roulette but discovered too late that the casinos always win at the end. Here is when billionaire John Gage, played by Robert Redford, came in. Gage was insatiably attracted to Diana. He knew of their financial distress so he offered a million dollars for a night with Diana. At first both hesitated and thought it was madness but after their conversation, both consented to Gage’s indecent proposal. Gage brought Diana to his yacht and played with her. He again offered another indecent proposal when he said he would let her leave if he won the coin toss. Diana, not knowing that the coin was one sided, agreed and unfortunately lost. David grew insecure and scared of losing Diana to Gage. However, Gage knew that his infatuation for her would not last long and that Diana did not want to spend the rest of her life with him he impliedly stated to Diana that she could go back to David. And the married couple David and Diana got each other’s affection in the end. I love this movie because of their involvement of wrongly wagering all their money on a roulette table. I knew that the roulette incident would affect their lives greatly. I also loved how the movie ended when Diana went back to the place where David proposed and he waited there for her. I recommend you watch this movie and surely you would enjoy it as much as I did.

An introduction of sorts....
“Water, water everywhere not a drop to drink” What has this adage got to do with my blog you might ask. I used this adage to compare my life - my life that is devoid of people despite the fact that the world is busting at the seams with people everywhere.. Could it be that there could be more who belong to this category? But the Internet has come to our rescue as sitting in the comforts of one's room one can amuse oneself for hours at a stretch surfing, teaching and learning. There are forums where like minded people get together and interact. Blogging is yet another way lonely people could build a world around them a world which they could call their own. Even before completing this blog I already get the feeling that I am surrounded by people who would want to be in my life and interact with me. Anyway why not? I have so much to say about me. I wish to post every day keeping my readers updated on the goings on in my life as I surely know what I would be posting here would be read with interest and enthusiasm by readers young and old. Being the only child I had walls for company and to keep myself amused my parents introduced me to the virtual world even when I was hardly in my teens with restricted entry ofcourse. I had access to only those sites which were meant for kids. My parents watched my every move and were protective of me as with free access to the Internet world they knew my life would be in jeopardy As an adult I was given my space which opened up vistas. I was a bright student and won several accolades my speciality being science. I am working on a concept converting waste into energy. It is a back breaking effort. At times I just want to give up but tenacity being my middle name I know I will pursue my dream and give to the world something that will save it from disaster. I am often stressed out as besides pursuing my dream I have the responsibility to care for my ailing parents. I have just one avenue for relaxation and that is the Internet where I have registered with a virtual Casino and there I play poker among other games. I do not play for real money yet but it is fun even to play Poker in a virtual environment. One needs to know the art of bluffing in the game of Poker and this practice might help me in the real world when I would be placed in a sitution where only bluffing would save my skin. One gets addicted to playing Poker but with determination one can tear oneself away from it which I do. I am seriously thinking of looking for other avenues for my relaxation. I am not into joining any clubs as that would eat into my time which is a rare commodity as far as I am concerned.
